I’m Dani, one of the blog commenters for the Kaikohekohe cluster for the Summer Learning Journey. I have heard some great things about the learners in the Manaiakalani cluster so I thought I would jump on and check out some blog posts!
Well done for creating an attractive and very informative poster about Jean Batten and Amelia Earhart. I knew they were flying planes around the same time but did you know that some of their major achievements happened within only years of each other. I can’t imagine how scary it must have been to fly solo in a plane for those distances. The planes were very different to the planes we have now and I’m glad our planes are safer now. Have you ever been in a plane anywhere? I actually went to Sydney this year in Australia, it was my first time visiting another country. The plane ride was exciting as first but got boring quickly!
