I am a Year 7 student at St. Pius X Catholic School in Auckland, New Zealand. I am in the SPX Nu'u Learning Space. My teachers are Mrs Tui and Mrs Lauchlan.
Dear Diary, Today I had the most extraordinary day, today as I woke up I saw the green plants and other green tress changing colors, I went to my family members and they said that they were seeing it too and that I wasn't the only one.
Was this Sunday George when the sky turned that eerie orange? What colours did the green plants and green trees change into? Keep blogging, and commenting on others, to increase your chance of winning one of the awesome prizes and to keep your learning up over the school break!
Hi George. It's Lukas. Great to see you blogging! Nice we are having that too. But it's not as much in spring. Anything alse happened great in the morning? Great work George!
Kia ora George, was this when the dust particles reached Auckland from the Australian bushfires? I saw this too and it was covered on news radio and television. It was very strange indeed because at our place, the afternoon light looked more like early evening. Have you been following the Australian bushfires?
Thank you for sharing your diary entry. Very interesting.
Like the other comments said, I think this may have something to do with the dust particles from the Australian bushfires. One moment it was a sunny day and next thing I know the sky became orange and so windy!
Have you been following the Australian bushfires? It makes you wonder what the sky must have looked like for them if this is what it looks like for us!
